Patient data on one device is not automatically available on another unless you export a backup and import it on the new device (after sign-in and any required device reset).
When you sign in, we process account information for authentication and security, including name, phone, email (if provided), password hash, session tokens (up to 7 days), and device identifier for one-device binding. Signing in does not upload your patient records.
Practice data (patients, appointments, vitals, medications, billing, attachments, and similar) remains on your device unless you export a backup, print, send it via Contact us, or otherwise share it yourself.
The App lets you create an encrypted .solodoc backup of local data and save it to a location you choose. Restore imports a backup you select and replaces data on that device. Backup files are not uploaded to Solo-Doctor servers. You are responsible for securing backup copies and for when you use restore.
Subject, message, optional attachments (up to 5 MB), and your doctor name and phone when you use Contact us.
Session token, remembered phone number, and notification preferences stored on your device.
When online, the App may check our server for the latest version (platform and version number only). No patient data is sent.
Search terms may be sent to NIH Clinical Tables (clinicaltables.nlm.nih.gov) for reference lookup only.
We do not use patient data for analytics, advertising, or server-side backup.
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers (hosting, email), NIH for search queries, and when required by law. Patient records are not shared from your device unless you export, print, or send them. If you store a backup on a third-party cloud service, that service’s policy applies.
We use password hashing, secure token storage, and encrypted connections where supported. Backup files are encrypted for use in Solo-Doctor; you must still protect your device, credentials, and any backup copies. We do not provide server recovery of patient records.
Request data deletion: See our dedicated page at www.solo-doctor.com/privacypolicies/request-data-deletion.html.
Data portability: Use Backup data (export) to obtain an encrypted copy of local records. You remain responsible for lawful handling of patient information.
Delete some data (keep account): In the app, delete individual patient records from the Patients list.
Delete your account: In-app menu → Delete account, or email info@solo-doctor.com. This removes your server account and all local patient data on that device.
California: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). Professionals may record pediatric patient data as part of care.
